The internet giant Google has hired a student of Class 12 of Government Model Senior Secondary School 12 from Chandigarh on 12 lakh monthly salary.

Harshit Sharma, who completed Class 12th from Govt. Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS), Sector 33 in Chandigarh will be joining the graphic designing team of the company in August in the US.

Google has hired Harshit as a graphic designer. The company will send him to California for training for a year where he will receive a stipend of Rs 4 lakh. Once the training is over, he will get a monthly salary of Rs 12 lakh. It is really commendable to bag such a great job offer from Google because of the fact that Harshit is just in class 12. And, he will get a huge salary package of Rs 1.44 crore per annum.

Harshit, who had an interest in designing from an early age. He always wanted to work with Google. “Who knew that an average student like me will get a job in Google. I can’t share my happiness how I am feeling, it’s like a dream has come true. My hard work has paid off well,” the paper quoted him Harshit says Chandigarh Newsline.

Harshit Sharma is studying in class 12th in Information technology. Harshit hails from Manthana in Kurukshetra, Haryana. Early on in his life, He developed his skills from his uncle Rohit. He has a feeling of gratitude towards the man who taught him graphic designing as he never went to a training institute to learn.

“I kept searching for jobs online. I applied for this job in May and was interviewed online. I have been interested in graphic designing for the past 10 years. I was selected on the basis of the posters I designed,” Hindustan Times quoted him.

“Our school got the smart school status in 2016. Harshit helped the many teachers in various programs, as he has a knack for technology,” Indira Beniwal, principal of GMSSS said HT.

Harshit’s parents are teachers and he was mentored by his uncle who lives in Dera Bassi. His teachers honored  him, one of them remarking him as “brilliant student.”
